4 Places Most Manufacturers Overpay (and miss refunds) on Taxes
June 16, 2022 @ 8:00 am - 10:00 am
If you are like most manufacturing and distribution companies, your 3 biggest cash expenditures are People, Materials, and Taxes.
With People and Materials going through the roof, wouldn’t it be nice to actually get some money back on your Taxes? Since you are a part of the Conflux community, you have the opportunity to do just that.
On Thursday, June 16th from 8am-10am, you can be one of 10 companies to participate in this Conflux Quarterly with The Brennan Group.
The Brennan Group specializes in working with Missouri manufacturing and distribution companies to identify places where your company is paying too much on indirect taxes: sales & use tax, personal property tax and real estate taxes. These areas are often overlooked and therefore companies are paying more than their fair share.
One manufacturer they work with was able to recapture $124,000 in sales tax paid because the product they manufactured was sent to their clients on a pallet, which they never got back…so the pallet was technically part of the product. In Missouri there is a 10-year claw back period, so even finding just one line item can pay huge dividends.
Michael Brennan and his team will talk through the most commonly overlooked areas of opportunity and then actually sit down with your team and go through your financials to identify potential tax overpayments and simple ways to reduce audit risks.
Because of the in-depth, hands-on approach to this workshop, we are limiting registrations to only the first 10 companies.
Once you are registered, we will send a list of recommended documents to bring for review.
